about 4-4-2

4-4-2 is a musical label and visual arts outlet. We release CDs when we can afford to, publish and promote free mp3 download releases through our netlabel and, as a side project, commission works of visual arts to promote and sell. We organise the odd music/visual arts gig and generally just love soaking up the ambience of being part of the underground music and art culture.

The music we like is varied - from electronica in many of its forms, to rockabilly, to 60s pop, to lo-fi indi, to straight out oddball experiments - we'll listen to anything at least once.

4-4-2 Music is always interested in hearing new music so get in touch - contact@4-4-2music.com. If you have a couple of tracks you think might make a nice virtual 7" single for our e-Single of the Month Club we would particularly like you to hunt us down.

Our newest compilation, 'Pop Songs For Edith Metzger' is now available. Go to the music pages to buy a copy. There are no new compilations planned at the moment, but keep checking back.

All prices quoted are in Australian dollars. Approximate US$ and Euro prices are added in brackets following the Australian price. These figures are approx - the Paypal checkout will charge you the Australian amount which will be converted using the current exchange rate. Overseas buyers can purchase in Australian dollars with no penalty via Paypal.

There are a variety of options for purchasing 4-4-2 music releases.

The preferred option is to use the secure, online Paypal shop. However, money orders or international cheques made in Australian Dollars, or concealed cash (AUS$, EURO, GBP, US$ - at sender's own risk) can also be accepted. If you would like to use a payment method other than the Paypal shop, please e-mail enquiries@4-4-2music.com beforehand.

postage costs

cds

All prices quoted for CDs on the 4-4-2 website INCLUDE postage to anywhere in the world. There will be no extra postage charge added to your order when you complete it. However, in order to keep these costs down, orders from outside Australia will be mailed WITHOUT jewel cases. Your CD with all its artwork will be parcelled securely, but without the plastic to make the parcel heavier. If this is a concern to you, and you would prefer to have the jewel cases sent with your order, e-mail us beforehand so we can work out what the extra cost would be.
